1. Please keep Blanca Oliver in your thoughts and prayers. Her mother-in-law passed away today.
2. With winter weather approaching quickly, it is important to prepare for any possible 2-hour delays. We have already made the first 2-hour delay schedule for your planning purposes. I emailed that out to all staff earlier this week. Future 2-hour delay schedules will be sent out to staff on mornings of a delay. The expectation for staff arrivals on these days: Please report to work as quickly but as safely as you can. We do realize that many of you have children to make arrangements for on these days, so please use caution in getting to work on those days.
3. Don't forget to vote on Friday! Voting for Teacher of the Year and the progress report proposal will be in the Guidance Office all day on Friday. Voting closes at 2:30pm.
4. In an effort to improve communications with the main office through Bogen phones......if you have an emergency and are trying to contact the main office/administrators, please use the following Bogen extensions. They are listed in order of priority:
Sharon Pitt - #111
Cindy Wilkes - #107
Sandy Derrah - #200
Susie Hook - #101
Administrators are rarely available by the Bogen phone. These individuals can assist in locating an administrator if needed.
5. The Athletic Department will sponsor several grade level socials in January. The dates are as follows:
Jan. 6 - 6th grade social
Jan. 13 - 7th grade social
Jan. 20 - 8th grade social
6. Monday, December 19, and Tuesday, December 20, will be casual days. In addition, any 2-hour delay day will be a casual day.
7. Upcoming holiday festivities:
Friday, December 16 - PTSA will be serving breakfast to the staff
Monday, December 19 - Student Council will provide breakfast to the staff
Tuesday, December 20 - Hospitality Committee will provide lunch for all staff members who have paid dues
8. On Monday, December 12, we will have an EC development meeting at 2:15pm.
